Renee Paull
Director
With over 30 years of dance experience, Miss Renee is the heart and soul of our studio. After teaching in local schools, she opened Leeuwin College of Performance in 2004 to create a space where every dancer feels seen, supported and celebrated. She is as qualified as she is passionate - with certifications in CSTD/comdance, PBT, Acrobatic Arts and even a Les Mills instructor. With a deep love for contemporary, Miss Renee has also had the privilege of working with legends like Chrissie Parrott, Lucette aldous, Jane Diamond and more. Her greatest joy is watching students grow into confident, kind and creative humans who love dance - and each other. From technqiue to cheering from the sidelines, Miss Renee is all about building a dance family that lifts each oterh up.
Taylah Kent
Miss Taylah has been dancing since the age of 3 and has spent over 10 years sharing her love for all dance styles - especially hip hop and lyrical where her choreographic flair truly shines. Her dance journey ranges from magical performances at Disneyland to the Mardi Gras stage and even opening for Justice Crew. With experience teaching and large array of different syllabi she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every class. She keeps herself busy working toward a doctorate in sport and clinical psychology and works with neurodivergent chidlren/adolescents as a dedicated support worker. Miss Taylah's passion is contagious and she's all about helping every dancer leave class feeling more confident, motivated and ready to take on the world.
Emma Colombera
Grace, grit and endless passion - that's Miss Emma in a nutshell. A devoted ballet teacher at LCP for over 12 years, she first stepped into the world of ballet at age 7 and has not stopped since. Now a proud mum of four (with two dancers of her own), she brings both warmth and guidance to every class. With a background in primary education and a degree in nutrition, she is all about nurturing young dancers in every way. Her heart lies in watching students blossom in confidence and technique. If she can make even one child love ballet half as much as she does, then she know she's done her job.
Deanja Vargess
With 18 years of dancing experience, Miss Dee's heart beats for lyrical, though ballet is a close second. As part of the LCP family for 8 years now, she brings both passion and patience to her teaching, especially when guiding our baby ballerinas through their first steps. She has a cert IV in education support and will complete her final major ballet and jazz exams this year! Her true joy lies in watching young dancers grow, not only in their technique but also in their confidence and love for movemement. You can still find Miss Dee performing on stage with grace, but you will always see her in our studio nurturing the next generations of dancers, one plie at a time.
Jamaikah Fenwick
Miss Jamaikah is a hardworking, passionate teacher who brings a love for all styles to our team. With her 19 years experience she will say contemporary and broadway are her favourites. Her highlight of her dance life was seeing the iconic Rockettes live in New York City, and we have been blessed to have her part of the LCP family for 10 years as a student and now a teacher (who still frequents the stage). She has a cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care and has dance exams in several styles in her time as a student. Miss Jamaikah adores teaching students and watching them grow not just as dancers, but as confident, capable individuals.
Yolande Hudson
A proud mum of 3 (plus two fur babies), Miss Yo brings big energy and an even bigger heart to LCP. She started dancing at 13 and has been a part of the studio family ever since her own daughters began dancing here at age 11 and 2. With 10 years of teaching under her belt, she's all about growing confidence, technique, and spark in her mini Jazz tribe. While she loves watching a good contemporary routine, her heart belongs to jazz - and when she's in the studio, you can bet she's bringing the fun, the fire and the full volume!
Gizelle Salame
Miss Gizelle has been dancing since she could move and with more than 25 years teaching across Australia, she brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and energy to. every class. Trained in jazz, tap, ballet and acrobatics through Comdance (CSTD), she's also a licensed Zumba Instructor and a qualified Dance Movement Therapist. Miss Gizelle has worked on countless live stage shows, both performing and behind the scenes as a choreographer, stage manager, and director of junior theatrical groups. At LCP, where she's been teaching for over 6 years, she currently leads classes in contemporary, tap and acrobatics. She believes in the emotional power of movement to connect, uplift, and inspire - and her vibrant energy is truly contagious!
Jordan Miller
Born to be on stage and an LCP member since her first wiggly walk at 4 years old, Miss Jordan has stepped into her teaching journey with all the passion, creativity, and sparkle you could ask for! While hip hop is her go-to groove, she has a deep love for all styles and you will find her pouring her heart into every beat, step, and shuffle. Currently completing her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management (and smashing her way through her own final dance exams), she's chasing a bright future in dance, whether it's on stage or in the studio. Her favourite part of teaching? Creating meaningful connections with her students and watching their confidence and skills grow. This year, you will find Miss Jordan leading a small army of intermediate hip hoppers.
Megan Snitch
As a true tap dance lover, Miss Megan’s passion for rhythm shines through in everything she does. Since starting dancing at age 5, she has been perfecting her craft and continues to dance as an adult with a love for all dance styles. Celebrating 10 years with LCP this year, Miss Megan is not only an amazing relief teacher but also a master of polishing routines to be stage-ready and bringing out the best in all students. She is our resident novice tap teacher and her dedication to detail is invaluable. You can find her around the studio with a smile on her face and a trail of tiny tappers not far behind!
Kym Whitney
With over 15 years at LCP (though she swears it feels like a lifetime), Miss Kym is our step-in superstar! Ballet may be her first love, but she enjoys all dance styles and graces the stage to this day. A high-school dance, sport, and health teacher by day, she’s also PBT certified and has completed all major ballet exams. Known for her dedication, humour, and hard work, Miss Kym is our go-to when teachers are away and is there to make sure every dancer feels confident, challenged, and ready to shine. You will often find her working diligently behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly or ensuring our teachers feel extra special at the end of the year.
